What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my role is being able to make a real and meaningful difference in people’s lives. Seeing participants grow in confidence, achieve their goals, and live more independently is incredibly rewarding. As a Director, I’m proud to lead a service that is ethical, compassionate, and genuinely person-centred, where every individual feels respected, supported, and empowered.
What experience or passion led you to work in disability support?
My passion for disability support grew from my background as an Enrolled Nurse. Early in my nursing career, I worked closely with people with varying abilities and complex needs, and those experiences stayed with me. I saw firsthand how much difference compassionate, respectful, and consistent care can make. Over time, this passion turned into a strong desire to advocate for people living with disability and to create a service that truly puts people first.
